- Audio streams: Voice audio is streamed in real-time to our transcription providers for processing. We do not permanently store raw audio recordings.
- Transcriptions: Processed transcription text is stored in your account history so you can access it later.
- Images: If you use the image context feature, uploaded images are held temporarily in memory during your session and discarded immediately after use.
2.3 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. We retain only:
- Last 4 digits of your card
- Card brand (e.g., Visa, Mastercard)
- Payment history (amounts, dates, status)
- Stripe customer and subscription identifiers
2.4 Usage Data
We collect anonymized usage analytics including:
- Pages visited on our website
- Word usage counts (for subscription limits)
- Feature usage patterns (anonymized)
Our website analytics are powered by Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.

- Enforce subscription word limits
- Improve our services and user experience

4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Voxor:
- Transcription providers (Soniox, Deepgram, Speechmatics, Groq) — process audio streams in real-time for speech-to-text conversion
- Groq — post-processes transcriptions for improved accuracy and formatting
- Stripe — handles payment processing securely
- Keycloak — manages authentication and user identity
- Resend — sends transactional emails (verification, password reset)
Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We select providers that maintain strong privacy and security standards.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Account data and transcription history are stored in encrypted databases
- All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS
- Authentication tokens are signed and time-limited
- Passwords are never stored in plain text
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access
6. Data Retention
- Transcription history: Retained in your account until you delete it or request account deletion
- Audio data: Not permanently stored; processed in real-time and discarded
- Payment records: Retained as required for accounting and legal purposes
- Account data: Retained until you request account deletion

- Delete your transcription history from within the app

The Voxor website does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics solution (Umami) is cookie-free and privacy-respecting. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device and are not shared with third parties.

Voxor is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
